





James Cochran, also known as Jimmy C, now resides in London where he has been painting in his unique drip and scribble style for years now. His portraits are well known, but none more than the David Bowie he painted not long before he passed away. whilst in Melbourne, he completed three works – a commissioned portrait of artist Jean Michel Basquiat in the garden courtyard at the Jackman Gallery in St Kilda, a Warhol inspired skull on the exterior wall of Linberg Gallery in Collingwood. The third piece was one of his street hearts – something he always leaves in the cities he visits.
